Theatre personalities join hands virtually to thank Covid heroes

Various Marathi theatre personalities came together for a motivational music video to express their gratitude towards medical workers, cops, sanitation workers, media and other people who are working round the clock in this time of crisis.
Conceptualized by Chandrakant Lohkare and written by Akshay Joshi, the video titled Krutadyata (Gratitude).
The song features Ashok Saraf, Rohini Hatangadi, Sachin Khedekar, Vandana Gupte, Sanjay Mone, Sanjay Narvekar, Advait Dadarkar, Bhau Kadam, Hrushikesh Joshi, Chinmay Mandlekar, Atul Parchure, Ashok Patki, AmeyWagh, Kavita Lad, Prashant Damle, Vijay Kenkare, Leena Bhagwat, Tejashree Paradhan, Bharat Jadhav, Hruta Durgule, Ajay Purkar, Ashok Hande, Sumeet Raghavan, Sunil Barve, Prasad Oak and Rahul Ranade
As it's a theatre personalities came together, they have given a special touch to it.After narration, they thank the Covid heroes in Nandi (invocation prayer with which the play starts). The Nandi is sung by Ajay Purkar, Ashok Hande, Sumeet Raghavan, Sunil Barve, Prasad Oak and Rahul Ranade.
All the actors shot for their portions in the video from their respective homes. The mamoth efforts of creating the video of around 5 minutes is a teamwork.
Before this, there are variuos Marathi actors have come up with different songs to salute the covid heroes, there was another song to remove the negativity amongst the people which is a result of the lockdown.
Recently, actor Jitendra Joshi, along with director Samit Kakkad, musician Dub Sharma, Sarang Sathaye and others had come up with a song called Police Rap, which is a tribute to the #CoronaWarriors serving on the frontlines. With lyrics like – ‘Thodi izzat dikha, ek salute tohmaar..Policewalabhihaiinsaan, who bhipadtabeemar’– the song has struck a chord and has been the talk of the town ever since it released.
