Aarushi Sharma who was last seen in the movie ‘High End Yaariyaan’, has one of the highly awaited Punjabi films in her kitty. She will be seen opposite Babbal Rai in the Baljit Singh Deo directorial ‘Maa’. The movie was supposed to be released today, but owing to the pandemic and lockdown the same has been postponed until further notice. Talking about it in an exclusive interview with ETimes, Aarushi spilled beans on the movies and expressed her grief over things not going as per the plan.

“If things would have not taken this turn, then our movie's (‘Maa’s) shoot would have been completed, and it would have been released on 8th May, on the occasion of Mother's Day. Our movie is about the journey of a mother; how a mom devotes her entire life to her children, to her family; how she, in fact every mother struggles throughout her life; what is the bonding between the family and the mother”, said the actress.

Coming to the part related to the release of the film, Aarushi said, “So far we don't know what is the plan of action related to the release of the movie, but we all had our hopes high that the movie will be released on Mother's Day and will get a lot of love. However, now the producers will look into what is to be done related to the release.”
“We are sad about the fact that our movies that were scheduled to release will not be coming out as planned and even shooting would not be going that smoothly”, concluded the actress.

Aarushi Sharma made her way to Pollywood last year with ‘Kaka Ji’. She shared the screen space with one of Punjab’s most intense actors Dev Kharoud. Thereafter, she was seen in Pankaj Batra’s debut production ‘High End Yaariyaan’. Further, besides ‘Maa’, she has ‘Daddy Cool Munde Fool 2’ in her kitty.
