Sathyaraj and Sibiraj come together after 7 years for a new Jackson Durai chapter

After seven years, director Dharani Dharan is coming up with the next installment to his horror comedy Jackson Durai, which featured Sathyaraj and his son Sibiraj in the lead roles.
Dharani Dharan informs us that the core content of this film, titled Jackson Durai: The Second Chapter, will not be a continuation of the previous one. “While Jackson Durai was a spoof of horror films, this film will be an intense horror thriller with lots of action.Major portions of the film are set in the 1940s, and Sibiraj will be seen playing a freedom fighter. ”
He says that Sathyaraj’s role will be asurprise factor. “Talking about his character might spoil the fun,” he adds.
Samyuktha Viswanathan, who was in the OTT series Engga Hostel, will be playing the female lead while Sharath Ravi will play a crucial role. Siddharth Vipin, who had composed music for Jackson Durai, will be part of this project as well.
The shoot for the film is all set to begin on March 23 in Coonoor. “We have decided to shoot the entire film in Coonoor as the landscape is ideal for stories set in the pre-Independence era. We are roping in actors from the UK for the period sequences and are also planning to bring in many vintage cars and horses to make the set-up look realistic,” says the director.
