legendary director Kodandarami Reddy has helmed several blockbusters and many commercial super-hits which changed the course of
Telugu cinema. He has delivered a string of successful films with A-list stars like
Chiranjeevi,
Balakrishna &
Venkatesh and especially with the former,
Kodandarami Reddy directed some path-breaking films like ‘Khaidi’, ‘Abhilasha’, ‘Pasivadi Pranam’, ‘Attaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu’, ‘Mutha Mestri’ and many more.
He was majorly responsible behind the tag of Megastar to Chiranjeevi.
The other day, the
70th birthday celebrations of Kodandarami Reddy were held on a grand manner in Hyderabad. Along with family members, a queue of renowned Tollywood personalities has attended the event to convey their wishes. Besides Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Venkatesh, the celebrities’ list includes Allu Arvind, MS Raju, K Raghavendra Rao, Parachuri Brothers, B Gopal, Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju and others.
Hailing from Nellore, Kodandarami Reddy launched his second son
Vaibhav Reddy with the 2007 action film ‘Godava’. However, the 39-year-old actor moved to Kollywood and acquired good fame as a supporting artist. He was last seen in Sekhar Kammula’s Telugu remake of ‘Kahaani’ titled ‘Anaamika’.
