Nagarjuna & Sonal Chauhan’s action scenes are the USP of The Ghost: Praveen Sattaru

Praveen Sattaru’s The Ghost, starring Nagarjuna, Sonal Chauhan and Gul Panag hit screens this Dasara and the makers are thrilled with the response they received from the audience. “The movie has turned out great and the action sequences in particular are top notch. Business is also picking up and we hope that the film will do even better over the weekend,” says producer Sunil Narang.
Director Praveen believes that Nagarjuna’s portrayal of an exInterpol agent Vikram, who will not stop at anything to save his family, has resonated with the audience. “I watched the film with fans in a couple of theatres in Hyderabad and saw first-hand how excited they were while watching the fastpaced sequences,” he tells us, adding, “I wrote the story specifically for Nagarjuna and I’m glad to see that the audience is loving him in this action-packed avatar. Not just in India, I’ve been hearing good things from the UK too. Sonal’s performance as his coagent is also being appreciated. ”
Encouraged by the audience response, the filmmakers are toying with the idea of a prequel or sequel to explore more of Nagarjuna’s character Vikram aka Ghost. But for now, Sunil urges viewers to experience The Ghost in theatres. “The film is a visual treat and can be best enjoyed on the big screen,” he adds.
