Actress Renuka Desai is the ex-wife of the newly appointed Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh and power star Pawan Kalyan, and since their separation 12 years ago Renu has been quite actively criticized on social media.
Recently, a fan labelled her as 'unlucky' for divorcing Pawan Kalyan. Renu's response was direct and assertive, questioning how her divorce could be seen as unlucky.

In an Instagram post, Renu expressed her frustration over the continuous trolling. She wrote, "It’s 2024 and we truly need to evolve as a society and stop associating luck with a divorce or someone whose partner has died. We need to start seeing that person as an individual for her or his personality and talents and hard work let’s change our mindset one thought at a time."

Renu’s marriage to Pawan Kalyan lasted three years before they separated in 2012. They share two children, Akira and Aadhya. Despite the end of their marriage, Renu continues to be a dedicated mother and a strong individual.
Pawan Kalyan, balancing his political and film careers, has several projects lined up. His upcoming film 'They Call Him OG,' directed by Sujeeth, is highly anticipated and set to release on September 27th.
The film features Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a ruthless criminal, with Emraan Hashmi playing the role of Omi Bhau. The cast also includes Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Priyanka Arul Mohan, and Arjun Das.

While the film is still in production, Pawan Kalyan is expected to resume shooting after fulfilling his political commitments. In addition to 'They Call Him OG,' he has two more films on the horizon: 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' and 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1-Sword vs. Spirit.'
