Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Chandrababu Naidu is an important player in the NDA government. But did you know that he and his wife Nara Bhuvaneshvari are also prominent businesspersons? While June 4, which was also the Lok Sabha election result day, saw the stock market crash, the shareholdings of FMCG brand Heritage Foods Ltd increased. Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneshvari holds a 24.37 percent stake in Heritage Foods Ltd.
And so, with the increase in Heritage Foods' share prices, Nara Bhuvaneshvari earned INR 579 crores in just five days!
As per reports, with TDP's good performance in the general elections, Heritage Foods' shares which were priced at INR 402.90 a piece on May 31, 2024, increased to INR 661.25. (as of June 7 evening) per share in just five days.

Who is Nara Bhuvaneswari?

For the unversed, Nara Bhuvaneswari is one of the daughters of late South Superstar and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, NT Rama Rao, and his wife Basavatarakam Nandamuri. On September 10, 1981, she got married to TDP leader and businessman Chandrababu Naidu in a traditional South Indian wedding. On the work front, Nara Bhuvaneswari is the Vice-Chairperson and Managing Director of Heritage Foods Ltd, which she has been a part of since 1994. It is noted that Heritage Foods Ltd was founded by Chandrababu Naidu in 1992, however, he isn't a part of the company now.
Nara Bhuvaneswari is "a B.A. Graduate and a Director for several companies. (She) Is a dynamic leader who has extensive experience in business and has been successfully steering Heritage Foods Limited towards growth and better prospects. Joined Heritage in 1994 as whole-time Director and is now serving as Vice Chairperson & Managing Director. Is guiding and monitoring the overall workflow of the organization," reads her bio on the company's official website.

Heritage Foods Limited and Nara Chandrababu Naidu's connection

Founded by Nara Chandrababu Naidu in 1992, Heritage Foods Limited is a publicly listed Company in India. It has two major business divisions, namely-- Dairy and Renewable Energy. As per reports, the annual turnover of Heritage Foods Ltd in the financial year 2022-23 was roughly INR 32,087 million.
Apart from Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneshvari, who owns a 24.37 percent stake in the company, their son Nara Lokesh also owns a stake of 10.82 percent in Heritage Foods. Naidu's
daughter-in-law Nara Brahmani is also a part of the company as the Executive Director and she owns 0.46 percen stake in the company. Meanwhile, Naidu's grandson Devansh also has a 0.06 percent stake in Heritage Foods Ltd.

Being the wife of a prominent politician and running businesses isn't an easy task, however, Nara Bhuvaneswari seems to have mastered the work-life balance well.
