'Inko aata hi nahi spin khelna': Shoaib Akhtar trolls England after losing to India in T20 World Cup semifinal

Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel, both left-arm spinners, were instrumental in India's victory over England in the second semifinal held in Guyana on Thursday. The duo dismantled the English batting lineup, with Kuldeep claiming three wickets for 19 runs and Axar matching his teammate's performance with three scalps for 23 runs. England had won the toss and opted to field first, after which India managed to post a formidable total of 171 for 7 on the scoreboard.

Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar said playing spin is not England's cup of tea, as the Indian spinners triggered a collapse on Thursday in Guyana that saw the defending champions bow out of the T20 World Cup in the semifinals.
Left-armers Kuldeep Yadav (3 for 19) and Axar Patel (3 for 23) took the sting out of England batting, bowling them out for 103 after India had put up a challenging 171 for 7 on the board following England's decision to bowl first after winning the toss.

"Indians can manage spin; Rohit Sharma can, he managed Adil (Rashid)...Inko aata hi nahi khelna spin (England don't know how to play spin). This was not a pitch for the fast bowlers or there was uneven bounce. Itna humid hai, sookha jayega (it's so humid, the pitch will dry up). You make 150 and then try to put India under pressure. It can be match on, but they were adamant on batting second," said Shoaib speaking on his YouTube channel.

India's batting was once again led by Rohit Sharma's half-century (57 off 39 balls). The skipper also added crucial 73 runs for the third wicket with Suryakumar Yadav, who made 47 off 36 balls.

"India deserve to win (the T20 World Cup)," said Shoaib. "I was disappointed last year when India lost the (ODI) World Cup final. They should not have lost that because they deserved it.
"Rohit is a big player, his career should end on a good note. Unfortunately, it slipped out of his hand last year. It would have been two World Cups in his hand," Shoaib added.
India will now take on South Africa in the final on Saturday in Barbados. The Proteas hammered Afghanistan by nine wickets in the first semifinal to book a place in the title clash.
