Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says he has cleaned “a lot of” toilets: Elon Musk responds
Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently heaped praise on Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's work ethics. In an old video shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), Huang is seen talking about his early work experience at Denny's, suggesting that he has respect for all types of work.
Musk’s comment came on an old video of Huang that was shared by Bloomberg’s Jon Erlichman.

“To me, no task is beneath me because, remember, I used to be a dishwasher,” Huang said in the video which was recorded during a March interview at Stanford's Graduate School of Business.
“I used to clean toilets. I cleaned a lot of toilets. I've cleaned more toilets than all of you combined,” he said amid a chuckle from the audience.
Huang suggested that this work ethic has instilled in him a deep respect for all types of work and a willingness to roll up his sleeves alongside his team.
“You can’t show me a task that’s beneath me,” he noted.
“If you send me something, and you want me to help review it, I’ll do my best. And I’ll show you how I would do it,” Huang added.

What Elon Musk has to say on Huang’s ‘attitude’

Musk praised Huang’s attitude and work ethic.
“Absolutely the right attitude,” Musk said in reply to the post shared on X. The Tesla CEO said that during Covid, he ensured there were toilet papers in his factories despite there being a shortage.

“During the toilet paper shortages of Covid, I was making sure that our factories and offices had toilet paper!” he added.
Musk has previously praised Ashok Elluswamy, an Indian-origin engineer for being the first member of Tesla's Autopilot team.
“Without Ashok and our incredible team, we’d be just another car company searching for an autonomy supplier that doesn't exist,” the Tesla CEO said.
“He has always pushed us to achieve great things, even when such ideas were seemingly impossible at the time,” Musk added.
