The Toyota Taisor will directly rival the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. It also goes up against Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and more in the Indian market. With the 1.2-litre engine variants, there is a price difference of up to Rs. 25,000. Surprisingly in the 1.0-litre turbo variants, there is only a difference of Rs 1000 between the Fronx and the Taisor.

The Toyota Hilux isn’t aggressively priced but it isn’t super expensive at the same time. It is more expensive than its nearest competitor, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross but for that money, you get a more powerful engine, more features, a better in-cabin experience and overall a pick-up that will put a big smile on your face every time you drive it.
