In a new announcement, Qatar revealed that they are starting a new programme that would allow visa-free entry for citizens of almost 80 countries. This new move would largely encourage the air transport, as well as tourism industry of the nation that is caught amid a two-month boycott imposed on it by its neighbouring nations. The small nation of Qatar is in deep crisis with four of its neighbours―Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt. The boycott came after the nations accused Qatar of supporting terrorism and of having close ties with Iran. This had led to economic blockade back in the month of June, and is already affecting the tiny nation that has entered a second month of boycott.
