Actress Ipsita Mukherjee bags a new show

Actress Ipsita Mukherjee has a brand new project in her kitty. The actress, who paired up with Rishav Basu in ‘Prosenjit Weds Rituparna’, has bagged a new project. Ispita will play a meaty role in the upcoming television serial ‘Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasa’. Interestingly, Ispita’s real-life beau Arnab Banerjee is also a part of the show, where he plays actress Aparajita Adhya and Chandan Sen’s son.
The shooting for the show, which is gearing up for its launch in September 25, has been going in full swing. And Ipsita is all excited to work with the team that has a strong star cast. The actress will be seen in a brand new avatar in ‘Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasa’ unlike, the characters she played in earlier projects like ‘Ekka Dokka’ or ‘Balijhor’. The upcoming television serial is more special because, Ipsita and hubby Arnab will share the screen again. Prior to this, viewers saw them in ‘Alo Chhaya’, a popular show although the real-life couple wasn’t paired opposite each other. Actress Debadrita Basu was the female lead while Arnab played the male protagonist. The couple, who has been dating in real life for quite some time, had a registry wedding in 2022.
The actress is a popular face on Bengali television. She stepped into showbiz at a young age. She became a household name with the success of TV show ‘Subarnalata’, starring national award-winning actress Ananya Chatterjee playing the female lead. Later, she bagged TV project ‘Kaya Patar Nouko’, which featured actor Debottam Majumder opposite Ispita. The actress had managed to woo the audience with her performance in the show too. Well, that was just a start, the actress went on to feature in a number of TV shows later, including ‘Mohor’.
