Leena Gangopadhyay tests positive for COVID-19

Writer-director-producer Leena Gangopadhyay is tested positive for COVID-19. She is in complete isolation and is currently stable. Recovery wishes have been pouring in for Leena.
She had fever and other mild symptoms of COVID-19 and decided to undergo necessary tests. The medical reports suggested she has contracted the virus. Leena is a busy bee. She is writing stories for a number of hit TV shows including the Indrani Halder and Tota Roy Chowdhury starrer ‘Sreemoyee’, comedy-drama ‘Khorkuto’, ‘Mohor’ and others.A number of her hit TV shows are being remade into Hindi and other regional languages. Leena provides stories and other creative inputs for Hindi shows which are being remade from her Bengali serials. Being a true professional, she is taking care of all the work commitments despite ill health.
Leena is considered as one of the most successful writers and producers of Bengali television.
