Team Mithai wraps up shoot on an emotional note; huge number of fans turn up to meet Soumitrisha Kundoo, Adrit Roy and other artists

For the past few days, Tolly Para has been abuzz with Bengali TV’s one of the most popular shows, Mithai concluding its journey. Although speculations regarding the show’s end were rife since last year, the show continued to entertain the viewers by rubbishing all the claims.
Finally, the makers announced the conclusion of the show recently, and the team ‘Mithai’ wrapped up their shoot yesterday on a very emotional note.A huge number of fans, mostly youngsters, gathered outside Bharatlaxmi studio to meet Mithai, her Uchchebabu aka Siddharth, Dadai, Thammi, Nipa, Nanda, Shree, and other characters from the show. It was an overwhelming moment for the entire cast and crew who faced the camera for the one last time as the ‘Mithai’ family. Artists Soumitrisha Kundoo, Adrit Roy, Biswajit Chakraborty, Swagata Basu, Diya Mukherjee, Arpita Mukherjee, Tonni Laha Roy, Uday Pratap Singh, Fahim Mirza, Ananya Guha, Sourav Chatterjee, Dhrubojyoti Sarkar, Omkar Bhattacharya, Oindrila Sinha along with the rest of their teammates shot for the last few scenes.
Emotions were flying high, as the artists and the other members of the show who worked hard behind the camera, recalled their fond memories associated with the daily soap. They walked down memory lane remembering the first day’s experience and how fast the time flew by. ‘Mithai’ was launched in January 2021 and managed to strike a chord with the viewers almost immediately. It didn’t take much time to climb up to the top position on the TRP charts and dominate the numero uno spot on the charts for a record period of time.
It was quite obvious for the team to bid the project goodbye which holds a special place to their hearts. The cast and crew had a cake-cutting ceremony amid the last day’s hectic schedule and also devoted time to the fans who came to meet them. Soumitrisha, Adrit, Tonni, Uday, Sourav, Fahim, and all others greeted the fans waiting outside. They happily posed for photos and signed autographs too.
