Exclusive - Poulomi Das on her breakup with Italian boyfriend; admits she has not been able to move on

Poulomi Das, recently evicted from the "Bigg Boss OTT" Season 3 house, joined ETimes TV for a quick chat. During the interview, she discussed her relationship with her ex-Italian boyfriend and her breakup. Poulomi shared the reason behind their breakup and revealed how she has not been able to move on in life.
Speaking about how she has not been able to move on after the breakup, Poulomi said, "I have not been able to move in.It was a long relationship. I was with him for 4-5 years, we spent a long time with each other. He was the pillar of my life which all of a sudden was not there. It takes time to move on when you have spent so much time together. I’m not going to get back to him for sure. I am done, I am over that relationship.:
On the show, Poulomi during her discussion with Shivani Kumari had shared that she wanted to prove something to her ex-fiance. When asked about the same, she said, "I wanted to prove to him many things. There were a lot of questions and I just wanted to answer him that even though I'm somebody, I’ve my voice, I can stand tall and I can’t just be a housewife. I will never be able to be just a housewife. I’ve been working since the age of 13 so I can’t be dependent on someone."
Talking about Bigg Boss OTT 3, Poulomi revealed that she feels her eviction was unfair, "I am disappointed with my eviction, I still feel my journey in the Bigg Boss house shouldn’t have been this short. Main bahut lambi race ki ghodi thi. My eviction was unfair and I felt I could have stayed for a longer period had the audience decided my eviction. But It was not on them, it was decided by a housemate. The housemate would have felt that I was a threat to him and he would have been intimidated by my presence."
Poulomi Das, the Indian television actress known for her roles in shows like "Dil Hi Toh Hai" and "Suvreen Guggal," recently opened up about her breakup. Poulomi and her Italian boyfriend broke up in November-December 2023 after being in a relationship for five years.
Recently, Poulomi Das was evicted from a reality show after Lovekesh Kataria, who holds influence from outside the house, used his power to eliminate her. His choice of saving Munisha Khatwani over Poulomi led to her exit from the show. During her time inside, Poulomi formed strong bonds with fellow contestants Sai Ketan Rao, Sana Sultan. She also got along well with Ranvir Shorey, and Deepak Chaurasiya.
