Here’s why Alefia Kapadia and Abhinav Kapoor were wary of falling in love with each other

Alefia Kapadia and Abhinav Kapoor became friends during the shoot of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 and eventually fell in love. As reported by us, Abhinav asked Alefia out in January last year, and they have been going strong ever since. However, did you know they had vowed against dating co-actors?
Sharing the reason, Abhinav told us, “Alefia and I were certain about not dating co-actors because it has its pros and cons.Infatuation rises quickly but crashes just as fast. Also, if there are fights, it affects the set atmosphere and performance. You can’t act when you are stressed out or preoccupied. We thought we’d remain good friends, hang out, eat, drink, chill, and travel together. However, there came a point when we felt drawn to each other. Our conversations were intense, and we started understanding each other better. Then it felt like this was it, and we started dating. It’s been a year and a half since.”
Alefia added, “Apart from the fact that we just hit it off organically, what also brought us closer was our shared interests in terms of fitness, diet, ambitions, and dreams.”
While they may not have set a wedding date, they had an elaborate marriage ceremony on screen. Alefia shared, “Our wedding track ran for three months. We would often joke with each other – Hamaari toh bohot shandaar shaadi ho chuki hai. We got an opportunity to spend a lot of time together and understand each other better. I guess that was the beginning of everything.”

In an interview, a few days ago, while talking about their relationship, Abhinav had told us, “Alefia and I became close friends but took our time before moving to the next level. Everything happened organically, and it has been a beautiful journey for us. It’s an easy-going and masti wala relationship with no effort required. Dating a friend is awesome because there is no pressure to impress each other.”
