Lucknowite and actor Mohit Sinha, who was last seen playing the role of a journalist in 'The Dirty Picture', is back on the small screen. Mohit has bagged the role of Radhe in the serial 'Ek Ghar Banaunga'. “Getting this role was a
cake walk for me,” says Mohit, adding, “The show is based on Lucknow and my character was that of a desi Romeo from old Lucknow, who is after this girl. I have not only seen such roadside romeos but have also been one of them during my teenage days,” he laughs.
But ask Mohit if playing a supporting actor might typecast him and he defends himself saying, “Interestingly, there is no such thing called ‘typecast’ on TV. Surprisingly, the main lead of my serial,
Rahul Sharma, was a supporting actor in many serials in the past. Even I aim for a main lead and it shall soon happen too.”
Mohit, whose three movies –
Tukka Fitt, Mohalla Assiand
Befikar Besahare are pending for release, says he is not worried about them and just wants to work hard for a better future. “I just want to work really hard and make a place for myself in the
entertainment industry. My girlfriend, whom I want to marry soon, is the real motivation behind my hard work,” he says.
