Ruslaan Mumtaz, his entire family including one-and-half year old son test positive for COVID-19; actor says, ‘this is not a mild flu’

Television actor Ruslaan Mumtaz and his whole family including his parents Anjana and Sajid Mumtaz, wife Nirali and son Rayaan have all tested positive for COVID-19. As the actor mentioned in his latest social media post, the whole family has contracted the novel coronavirus amidst the ongoing third wave.
Ruslaan took to his Instagram handle to inform everyone about the same. He shared a family picture and wrote a short note giving an update about their symptoms and further saying that the family will recover soon.His one and half year old son has also tested positive.
Alongside the family picture, Ruslaan wrote, “Finally after evading the virus for 2 years. We have all tested positive. Mom, dad and Rayaan are stable and their temperature is not very high so we will all be out of this soon. Stay safe guys. From my personal experience this is not a mild flu.”

Get well soon messages and wishes for the family's speedy recovery dropped in on Ruslaan’s post. Many celebrities from the television industry took to the comments section to send their ‘take care’ messages to the family. Nakuul Mehta and wife Jankee, Ruhi Chaturvedi, Mahhi Vij were a few among the celebs who commented on the post.
It was only last week, on January 4, that the family celebrated Ruslaan’s mother and veteran actress Anjana Mumtaz’s birthday. He had made a special post with adorable family pictures and a hearty birthday message on Instagram.
Many actors in the television industry have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past few days. A few have recovered and many are still recovering from the virus. Recently, Rubina Dilaik and Sayantani Ghosh revealed about testing positive after they recovered from the virus. Meanwhile, Shikha Singh, Pooja Gor, Sumona Chakravarti and many others are on the road to recovery.
