In a world where women often prioritise the needs of others before their own, TV actresses are joining hands to remind women to give equal attention to their needs and desires. In a video, artists from leading fiction and reality shows of the channels such as Sumbul Touqeer (Kavya from Kavya Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon), Karuna Pandey (Pushpa from Pushpa Impossible), Anjali Tatrari (Yuvika from Vanshaj), Pariva Pranati (Vandana from Wagle Ki Duniya), Shruti Anand (Mauli from Mehndi Wala Ghar) among others, are seen supporting the cause and encouraging women to listen to their hearts and prioritize themselves, without feeling guilty about the same.
Anjali Tatrari said, "I am immensely happy to be a part of the 'Khud Ki Suno Khud Ko Chuno' film. It's a powerful reminder that women everywhere deserve the freedom to choose their own paths and prioritize their happiness and goals without any guilt. My character, Yuvika's journey in Vanshaj as a strong and determined businesswoman in a male-dominated world resonates deeply with this message. This Women's Day, let's celebrate the extraordinary strength that defines each woman, inspiring us all to reach for the stars and chase our dreams.”
Karuna Pandey, plays Pushpa in Pushpa Impossible said, "International Women's Day isn't just a date on the calendar; it's a celebration of the strength and infinite possibilities of women everywhere. As Pushpa, I'm thrilled to be part of the initiative by Sony, standing with women worldwide as we break barriers, challenge norms, and pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive future. Today, let's honour the extraordinary achievements of women past, present, and future, as we continue to march forward together, unstoppable and undeterred."
Shruti Anand said, “Women deserve a slice of happiness within the family, advocating for their own aspirations and desires. My character, Mauli, consistently prioritizes her family's happiness and endeavors to foster unity and resilience among them. But while she is selfless, she is also building her confidence and rising above her failed marriage. This Women's Day, I’d like to commemorate her never-say-die spirit with the 'Khud ki Suno, Khud ko Chuno' campaign, embracing the notion of becoming the architects of our narratives.”
