Actor Harish Raj mourns the death of filmmaker Katte Ramachandra

Kannada filmmaker Katte Ramachandra passed away today (January 28) due to age-related illness. He was 75. The demise of the veteran filmmaker has left the Kannada film industry in a mourning state.

Kannada actor and former Bigg Boss Kannada season 7 contestant Harish Raj has also mourned the loss. He took a stroll down the memory lane and remembered the late filmmaker as he was the first person to introduce the latter as an actor to the industry.
Harish took to his Instagram handle and shared his deepest condolence over the ace filmmaker's death.

The actor on his Instagram handle wrote, "Katte Ramachandra sir.
The person who gave me my first opportunity ever and put me in front of camera in 1996-97
You Will always be remembered sir...
May your soul Rest In Peace." (sic)

Besides Harish Raj, many other celebs from the industry have also mourned the loss of Katte Ramachandra.
The final rites of the veteran filmmaker are likely to be performed today by the family members.
In his career spanning over four decades, he has directed, acted, and produced many films as well as serials. He had worked for several films like Arivu and has produced serials like Mane Mane Kathe and Alegalu.
Ramachandra had even worked as a dubbing artist for many Kannada projects including Chomanda Dudi, Ghatashraddha, and Geejagana Godu. Due to age-related factors, he stayed away from the industry.
