It has been a full year since Volkswagen launched its made-in-India SUV, the Taigun. In the span of one year, the vehicle has managed to sell in good numbers and also scored 5 stars in the updated Global NCAP crash testing. This makes it one of the safest SUVs on Indian roads. To celebrate these achievements, the company put us behind the wheel of the Taigun on an empty airfield. There were various sections to test the acceleration, braking and cornering capabilities of the Taigun.
