Volkswagen Experiences customer drive commences from Chandigarh: Details

Volkswagen India has kicked off its inaugural ‘Volkswagen Experiences (VWe)’ event on June 9, 2024, starting from Chandigarh. This expedition is dubbed 'The First Chapter: An Exhilarating Expedition to Ladakh,' and will take participants across the terrains of the Himalayas, all the way to Ladakh. The inaugural chapter of Volkswagen Experiences began on Saturday with a five-night, six-day drive from Chandigarh through the Himalayas, across the Spiti Valley, and ending in Ladakh.A return expedition departs from Leh on June 18th and will conclude in Chandigarh on June 23rd.
Volkswagen Experiences Drive: What is it
This curated event, focused on customer engagement, features the Volkswagen Tiguan, Virtus, and Taigun models. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, expressed his excitement, stating, "With Volkswagen Experiences (VWe), we have introduced a much-awaited customer engagement program that embodies togetherness through various curated experiences.”

Volkswagen Experiences Drive: The route
Participants from across India are driving in a convoy of over 25 Volkswagen cars, embarking on a journey that traverses the challenging landscapes of the Himalayas. The route includes stops at Manali and Jispa, culminating in the final destination of Leh, Ladakh. Along the way, drivers will navigate high-altitude mountain passes, rustic hamlets, ancient monasteries, whistling valleys, and towering Himalayan peaks.
In addition to the driving experience, participants will enjoy local cuisines, bond over outdoor survival training sessions, and explore the Palchan Apple orchards. The event also offers an opportunity to celebrate togetherness by the banks of the Indus River in Leh, providing a blend of adventure and cultural immersion.
