Marco Bezzecchi has inked a multi-year contract with Aprilia Racing, set to commence from next season. This move brings an Italian rider back to the outfit’s factory team since Lorenzo Savadori's MotoGP debut in 2020.
Bezzecchi will team up with Jorge Martin, another new addition to the factory Aprilia squad. Both riders are transitioning from satellite Ducati teams, and Aprilia has high hopes for a championship win in 2025.
The 2023 season was a standout year for Bezzecchi, highlighted by his victory at the inaugural Indian Grand Prix and his strong contention for the Championship title.
Since his MotoGP debut in 2022, the 25-year-old has bagged nine podium finishes and three race wins, culminating in an impressive third-place finish in the 2023 Championship standings.

As the 2024 MotoGP season progresses, Martin leads the standings with 171 points, followed by factory Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia with 153 points, and Gresini Racing’s Marc Marquez in third with 136 points. Bezzecchi currently holds 11th place with 46 points.
“We can’t wait to embrace Bez in Noale; the Italian bike and Italian rider duo are extremely exciting, but even more so is the rider pair which will be formed with Jorge. We are really happy with our line-up for 2025, Martín and Bezzecchi were our first choices for their age, talent, grit, and determination. With them we can write a new and important chapter in the history of Aprilia Racing”. said Massimo Rivola, CEO Aprilia Racing.
