Karnataka: Bus driver held for allegedly raping school girl

Bengaluru police arrested a school bus driver for allegedly raping a school girl near Annapurneshwari Nagar Ring Road in Bengaluru, Sandeep Patil, Additional Commissioner of Bengaluru City Police said that the girl was waiting for a bus. The accused, Bus driver from another school, picked up her on the pretext of dropping her home and took her to an isolated place near the Ring Road. There he committed sexual assault and fled from the place. “Case of rape and sexual assault has been registered and the accused has been arrested. We have taken him for custody for 7 days. Further investigation is going on,” Sandeep Patil informed.
