Mona Singh recalls Aamir Khan telling her 'this is a movie, not a TV show' during the rehearsals of '3 Idiots'

Mona Singh who became a known name after her hit TV show ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi’ also went on to work in films. Notably, the actress has worked with Aamir Khan in two films, ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, Mona recalled her experience of working with the ‘Ghajini’ actor and reportedly said ‘When I was shooting for 3 Idiots, that was the first time I was working with the entire team and I saw Aamir sir and I was like, ‘Oh my god, what is he doing?’ We had some 100 rehearsals, and in those rehearsals, he came up with something different every time. As a TV actor, I was not used to rehearsals.’ Further revealing how she felt ‘bored’ and ‘tired’ during those rehearsals and asking the reason behind it, Mona said ‘(I was like) Why are we doing so many rehearsals?’ So, Aamir replied, ‘Mona this is a movie. What are you talking about? This is not a TV show where an episode is going out tomorrow. This movie will release next year. We have to work hard. We will do one scene a day.’ Meanwhile, Mona Singh recently made an appearance in the second season of web show ‘Made In Heaven’.
