Gujarat: 4 arrested in gold smuggling, 7.11 kg of gold seized

SOG team of Surat Police on April 30 seized 7.11 kg of gold worth Rs 4.30 crores. 4 people involved in the smuggling have been arrested. “The SOG team was keeping an eye on them for the last 15 days. We were successful in nabbing this gang during the checking last night. 4 people including Fenil, Nirav, Umesh and Sawan were arrested. 7.11 kg of gold were recovered from them,” Sharad Singhal, Joint Commissioner of Police of Surat said.
