Gandhi extended his best wishes to Keir Starmer for his tenure as the new British Prime Minister and expressed anticipation for a future meeting between them.
On Friday, Keir Starmer assumed office as the UK's Prime Minister following a decisive victory for the Labour Party in the general election. Labour secured 412 seats in the 650-member House of Commons, a significant increase of 211 seats compared to the 2019 elections.
Starmer emphasized his commitment to rebuilding Britain after what he described as a "sobering verdict" from voters on the leadership of Rishi Sunak and the Conservative Party.
