    Areas affected: Lower River Colne and Frays River

    Flooding is possible - be prepared

    River levels are rising on the Lower River Colne due to heavy rainfall today, Saturday 6th July.
    Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Colne, Frays, Wraysbury and Poyle Channel, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Longford.
    We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area.
    Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
    This message will be updated by 10:00am tomorrow, Sunday 7th July, or as the situation changes.

    Areas affected: River Coln and its tributaries

    ACTIVE

    Flooding is possible - be prepared

    Property flooding is not currently expected.

    River levels are rising on the River Coln as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected this afternoon and overnight, 06/07/2024, especially in the Fairford area.

    Further showers are forecast this afternoon and tomorrow which have the potential to be heavy at times. We expect river levels to continue slowly rising this afternoon and levels will remain sensitive to further rainfall.

    We are monitoring the situation. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.

    Flooding is possible - be prepared

    Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are rising on the Upper River Loddon as a result of a period of sustained rain. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected today 06/07/24, especially in the Sherfield on Loddon area. Further rainfall, which may be heavy at times, is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated by tomorrow morning, 07/07/24, or as the situation changes.
