      1. Students study the application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism in Electrical Engineering.
      2. Herein B.Tech Electronics Engineering & Computing is an integrated programme, where students study the electronics hardware circuits and programming and IT aspects.
      3. The curriculum of Electronics Engineering & Computing is different from ECE. In ECE, students learn about the EMT, Digital & Analog communication, and RF Engineering.
      4. The curriculum teaches and trains students to develop new technologies in both domains such as hardware and software that can be utilised in various applications such as healthcare, security, communication, early disaster warning, education, entertainment, business, production, farming, etc.

      Embedded Systems and IoT

      In the Embedded System, hardware design and software programming are used for innovative product development. The various embedded systems are interconnected using IoT based network. IoT is very crucial for the industry as well as other environments in achieving high productivity, efficiency, safe working environment, and low carbon emissions. IoT solutions are going to play a very important role in home automation, security, and various industrial problems with 5G communications. In Embedded Systems and IoT specialisation, students are imparted knowledge of hardware design, software development, and interconnection with network and cloud infrastructure. The students completing the course can opt for jobs in various companies such as Synopsys, Intel, NXP, Qualcomm, Analog Devices, Samsung, Microsoft, Siemens. The various job profiles in the industry are IoT lead Engineer, IP Design Lead Engineer, Hardware Architect, ASIC Design FPGA Engineer, Application Engineer.

      Data and Signal Analytics

      The Specialisation focuses design, development, and research areas such as Data Analytics, Machine and Deep Learning, Information Processing & Analytics, an Computer Vision. The specialisation is carefully designed to attain technical aspects that enable students to grow into competent Data Analytics professionals.

      Signal and Data analytics is about making conclusions from the information they contain. Data analytics with machine learning technologies are widely used in commercial industries, research communities. The specialisation focuses on building foundations in data analytics using machine learning, a deep understanding of the area of specialisation, and innovative ability to solve new problems. Interdisciplinary skill sets and knowledge to handle and analyse large amounts of data are now essential for many career paths. The use of data analytics is a growing trend spanning all industries. The specialisation offers Machine Learning, Exploratory Data Analytics, Big Data, Natural Language Processing, and Artificial Intelligence, along with basic courses in programming languages.

      VLSI Design

      VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) Design is a field of electronics engineering that involves the design and development of integrated circuits (ICs) with a large number of transistors on a single chip. VLSI technology enables the integration of thousands to billions of transistors, allowing for the creation of complex and highly functional electronic systems on a small silicon chip.

      An Honours in Electronics Engineering & Computing Engineering is obtained by earning 18 more credits from six advanced courses.
    • Projects

      12 credit Major Project in the 8th semester, five credits in the 7th semester, and one credit in the 6th semester are mandatory. Students have an opportunity to start the project in the 6th semester, continue to evolve during the summer after 6th and 7th semesters, and finally complete it in the final semester. Such a long association helps the student gain considerable knowledge and skills required for prospectus career opportunities.
