      School of Computer Science Engineering & Technology has developed a curriculum for the Post Graduate Certificate in Computer Applications program. It equips students with skills on technical, specialisation, communication, and teamwork. Get the overview of the programme here.

    • Program Core Courses

      The core courses help students understand and make use of advanced concepts on data structures and algorithms that are essential for studying the chosen specialisations.

    • Soft Skills

      A course on soft skills is offered to cultivate the professional skills.

    • Entrepreneurship

      The course helps inculcate entrepreneurial skills.

    • Project Based Learning (PBL)

      The students must take up a specialisation project.

    • Specialisations

      Specialisations: Every specialisation consists of one core and one elective course. It also has specialisation-oriented project that engages the students for project-based learning in the opted specialisation. Specialisations are chosen at the time of admission.

      1. Specialisation Core Courses (4 credits): Students are offered one specialisation core course.
      2. Specialisation Electives (3 credits): Students must choose one specialisation elective.
    • Artificial Intelligence

      The CEOs and CXOs of NVIDIA, Aindra, Here Tech, Amazon, and other academicians have contributed to the curriculum design of the specialisation. The specialisation electives offered under AI are Cognitive Modelling, Advanced Computer Vision and Video Analytics, Reinforcement Learning, Image and Video Processing, and Natural Language Processing. These courses match the best of international standards in AI specialisation. The other high point is the arrangement the University has reached with NVIDIA, SAP, Hitachi and Times Internet to enable students to work on cutting-edge projects.

    • Blockchain

      The curriculum for Blockchain specialisation has been developed in consultation with CEOs and CXOs of BankchainAsset.com, Digiledge, besides other subject matter experts. The specialisation electives offered as part of the B.Tech syllabus include Blockchain Technologies, Smart Contracts and Solidity Programming, Digital Currencies and Blockchain, Modern Cryptography, among others.

    • Cyber Security

      With increased dependency on online transactions and other social activities, there is now high demand for a robust Cyber Security framework. Keeping that in mind, the Cyber Security curriculum has been designed by the CEOs and CXOs of the Data Security Council of India (DSCI), QoS Technologies, IBM, and other researchers. The courseware includes topics on Cyber Security with Blockchain, Malware Analysis for Mobile Devices, Security and Privacy for Big Data Analytics, Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking, among others. Also, to have students work on cutting-edge projects, the University has tied-up with DSCI, Fortinet, CompTIA and CISCO.

    • Data Science

      Data scientists play a key role in the working of smart cities, automation industry, BFSI and Fintech. Given the importance of Data Science, Bennett University has put together a curriculum with the help of CEOs and CXOs of Microsoft, Google, TCS, and other researchers. The curriculum includes elective courses on Structural Equation Modelling; Security and Privacy for Big Data Analytics; Data Visualisation; Big Data Analytics and Business Intelligence; and Satellite Data Analytics.

      The lab consists of 32 Dell machines with the latest configuration. Moreover, it has the support of Dell-EMC. Dell provides support in faculty training, collaborative projects, and exclusive workshops.

      Specific areas of operation will include Information Storage and Management (“ISM”), Cloud Infrastructure Services (“CIS”), Data Science and Big Data Analytics (“DSBDA”) and Data Protection and Management (“DPM”). It will help the students to compete for the skills required by the fortune 500 companies.

      It incorporates information, resources, expertise, training, and knowledge in the field of (i) Information Storage and Management, (ii) Cloud Infrastructure Services, (iii) Data Protection and Management and (iv) Data Science and Big Data Analytics to enable Bennett University to disseminate the information and knowledge.

    • Apple iMac Design & Multi-Media Lab

      It is a futuristic 32 node high-end lab with state-of-the-art Apple machines. As per the International Standards the 27-inch monitors are useful for any visual effects with immersive experience by using most colorful retina display. Processor Speed, Magic Mouse and Magic keyboard makes the experience unforgettable.

      Lab is for running courses which require high end graphics capabilities including 3D graphics and video editing capabilities. it will be specifically used for activities and projects related to gaming, design, multimedia, modern art and media production. High configuration of the machines will also help in running resource-hungry applications related to research requiring large scale simulations and experimentation.

      This Centre will work in multimedia design and research. This Centre will be made of Apple iMacs which have very high-end graphics and other components suitable for multimedia research. We will have 32 machines of high configuration to serve the objectives of this lab.

      This Lab caters for imparting skills of Programming/Coding to First-Year Students. It has state of the art systems that are equipped with the requirements for programming instructions to be given to students.

    • Information Management System Lab

      This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements of Information Management, Data Base Management systems and Other Business processing applications. It is equipped with relevant software and IT infrastructure to fulfil these requirements.

      Computer configuration: Acer, Intel®core™ i5 6400,64 Bit processor,8Gb RAM.

    • Cloud Computing Lab

      This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements of Cloud Computing processing and applications. Students get hands-on practical experience through lab work for novel Cloud-Based Computer Laboratory (CBCL) solutions, including certifications like Microsoft Azure etc.

      It is equipped with relevant software and IT infrastructure to fulfil these requirements.

    • Drone Labs

      This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements in the domain of Drone base Lab, assembling Drones and implementing the applications.

      Our Drone Laboratory provides facilities for the development of various drone technologies and sensing equipment which could be applied to the drones using DJI Mavic AIR QUADCOPTER DRONE, Veerobot F450 AIR QUADCOPTER DRONE and many more different drones and technologies. Students use Jetson Nano Nvidia Development Kit, Raspberry Pi etc.

      The laboratory is equipped with various drone platforms: from quad/hexacopters to pipeline crawlers, to remotely operated underwater vehicles.

    • IoT and Robotics Lab

      This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements of IoT and Robotics Lab, hands-on experience with our Robo NAO and implementing the applications with NAO V6 HUMANOID ROBOT.

      Our students build an Artificial Being (ABe), which, unlike humanoid robots, is a congregation of networked mobile robots emulating the various parts/organs of a body in this lab.

    • Computer Network and Cyber Security Lab

      This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements of Computer Network and Cyber Security Lab on Simulator Tools, including Hardware hand on experience with Routers and the latest CISCO Switches.

      Students use different wireless network components and features providing network security and to set Firewall Security in windows/ Linux OS for implementing different types of vulnerabilities for hacking websites /Web Applications.

    • Data Structure Labs

      This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements in the domain of Data Structure Labs.

      We provide the students with knowledge about Data Structures, Applications of data structures, Problem-solving using data structure tools and Techniques. Students are made familiar with C programming and its applications.

    • AR and VR Gaming

      This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements in the domain of AR and VR Gaming Labs.

      Our Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Media Lab contains some of the most cutting-edge head- mounted displays available today. Students have access to the technology for the development of VR and AR software using Oculus Go Standalone Virtual Realty Headset and many other.

    • Microprocessor Lab

      This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements in the domain of Microprocessing Lab to provide intensive practical exposure to learn the assembly and embedded C programming systematically for the different issues of microprocessors and implement their codes on INTEL ALTERA DE2 115 DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION Boards.

    • Big Data and Machine Learning Lab

      This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements in the domain of Big Data Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and develop predictive models to solve their problems.

      Where students build and train deep neural networks, build a CNN and apply it to detection and recognition tasks, Train test sets, analyze variance for DL applications, use standard techniques and optimization algorithms, and build neural networks in TensorFlow. Students can Build and train RNNs, work with NLP and Word Embeddings, and use HuggingFace tokenizers and transformer models to perform NER.

    • Quantum Computing Labs

      This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements in the domain of Quantum Computing Lab, for research uses and quantum theory to develop computer technology.

      Using quantum simulations this lab provides hands-on exercises that execute on real quantum systems provided by IBM Quantum Experience.
