Online applications have been invited for the Falling Walls Lab 2020, a fast-paced pitch competition for the next generation of innovators and creative thinkers. The latest India edition will be organised by
Deutsches Wissenschafts- und InnovationsHaus (DWIH) New Delhi and
German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in collaboration with
IIT Kanpur on August 22, 2020.
Students, entrepreneurs, early-career
researchers and academics from all disciplines are eligible to apply and pitch their innovative ideas in 3 minutes. Participants can share their research
projects, business plans, entrepreneurial or social initiatives that are aimed at creating a positive impact on science and society. Presentations will be evaluated based on three broad categories – breakthrough factor (50%), relevance/impact (30%) and structure/performance (20%).
The applicant must be 18 years or older while applying. Interested candidates can apply at

The finalist of the Falling Walls Lab 2020 (India chapter) will get a chance to compete with 100 international winners from across the world at the finale in Berlin in November 2020.
The winner of DAAD Entrepreneurship Prize 2020 winner will get an opportunity to participate in the
Innovation Week, a five-day entrepreneurship boot camp in
