Nimisha Dhote

Nimisha Dhote is a 22-year-old science graduate hailing from the city of lakes Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
'When life gives you lemons, make a lemonade.' She very much relates her life struggles with this quote. Her life has not been very peaceful, but she believes that when God takes away something good, he always replaces it with something better, just like her sister and grandparents have surrounded her. They are her support system and taught her to be strong and independent. Her grandparents never made her realize that her parents aren't with her. She enjoys swimming, dancing, and other indoor and outdoor sports. She has been a part of NCC, where she learnt that a person must be dedicated, focused, and disciplined in every way. From an early age, she wanted to do something for her country. Nimisha loves to spend time with underprivileged children and educate them. She hopes to be the voice for the voiceless and stand for those victims of fortune.

I am a very simple, calm, and confident girl who believes in her dreams and works hard to turn them into reality.

Who is the most influential person in your life?
It's not one, but the two people who have been really influencing my life, and they are my grandparents. They are the ones who have been motivating me. Whatever I do, whatever I believe, they make me believe in it, they believe in me, that's why I am here today.

What are the three best qualities you possess?
Optimism, passion, willingness to learn

What is your biggest fear?
Losing the people I love the most.

Describe your favorite memory of your college life?
All memories with my best friend.

What was the craziest rumor you ever heard about yourself?
That I have got a lip job.

One thing you miss about your college life amid pandemic?
I can't think of one. I miss everything about college.

What would be your advice for the youth of today?
Be honest with yourself and others. Always be open to listen to others. Learn to know how to forgive. Try to always look for what unites us, not what separates us.

Campus Princess had been a life-changing opportunity for me. It has made me the confident girl that I am today. It has made me a better version of myself. It has helped me to become the best at whatever I do.
