How to change UPI PIN without debit card

Online payments have become the main source of payment for users. Nowadays, users prefer making payments via digital wallets and UPI IDs, be it for shopping online, paying for a cab service and others. Not only it helps save time but also offers certain reward points after making a UPI transaction. At times, users often change or modify their UPI PIN due to security purposes.

Introduction
Unified Payment Interface (UPI) is an instant real-time payment system developed by the National Payment Corporation of India (NCPI). It is used to instantly transfer money between two linked bank accounts.

People usually reset or modify their UPI PIN if they need to update it for security reasons. Here are the steps to change your UPI PIN on Google Pay:

Steps:

Open the Paytm app on your smartphone.

Tap on the 'profile icon’ available at the top left corner of your screen.

Go to the 'profile settings’ option.

Tap on the 'security & privacy’ section.

Tap on the 'change UPI PIN’ option.

Select the bank account for which you want to change the PIN.

Tap on 'I remember my old UPI PIN’

Enter your old UPI PIN, then set the new PIN and confirm it.

Conclusion
In nutshell, if you follow the above steps, you will be able to change the UPI pin, without the use of a debit card. However, if you do not remember your old UPI pin, you will need your debit card to change your UPI pin.

You can use the same instructions to change your UPI PIN via Phonepe or Google Pay.
