Humane AI Pin orders to start shipping in March 2024: All the details
Last month, AI startup Humane which was founded by former Apple employees Bethany Bongiorno and Imran Chaudhri showcased the AI Pin smart device for the first time in July. In a press briefing in November, Chaudhri said how the new wearable has the potential to replace smartphones. He said that “the last era has plateaued” and the AI-powered wearable product is “a new way of thinking, a new sense of opportunity.”

At this time, the device also became available for pre-orders but the company didn't reveal when it will start shipping the device. Humane has now announced the AI wearable will begin shipping in March 2024. The company took to social media platform X to make this announcement.

Humane AI Pin: Availability
In the X post, Humane said, "We are shipping all orders in the orders they were received, based on the date of purchase." This suggests that the pre-orders for the AI wearables that were placed earlier will be out for shipping first.

Humane AI Pin first is still up for pre-orders on the site. The AI wearable starts at $699, and it requires a $24 monthly subscription for cellular data and a phone number. The device is available in three colour options --Eclipse (Black) for $699, Lunar (White with polished chrome) for $799 and Equinox (Black with polished chrome) for $799.

Humane AI Pin: Key highlights
The Humane AI Pin is basically a wearable device which is powered by AI. It packs a Snapdragon chipset inside. Instead of a display, it features a projector that can project info on surfaces such as the user's hand.

The AI integration in this Humane wearable allows it to handle various actions like language translation, voice-based messaging, searching for information, accessing emails and more. However, users need to give voice cues for initiating these actions. The company has also shared a YouTube video to explain how it will work..
