Clear Mountain Bank team members had a blast participating in the United Way Corporate Cup Challenge this past weekend June 21-23! 🏆💪 For two and a half action-packed days, our incredible teams competed against other local businesses in a diverse range of exciting events: Day 1: We flexed our mental muscles and placed FIRST in Team Trivia, showed off our pool skills in Billiards, and nailed Three-Point Shots on the court, where we placed SECOND! 🎉 Day 2: The excitement continued with Volleyball matches, Kickball games, a hilarious Three-Leg Sack Race, plus Horseshoes and Cornhole. We even tested our aim in a Shooting Simulator Competition! Day 3: We wrapped up the challenge with a spirited Bowling tournament before the Championship Awards Presentation. Not only did we enjoy bonding as a team, but we also helped raise vital funds for the many United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties community programs. Talk about a win-win! HAPPY 161st BIRTHDAY WEST VIRGINIA!!🎂 West Virginia celebrates its 161st birthday today June 20th 2024. West Virginia Day commemorates the date that West Virginia was inaugurated as a state in 1863, making it the only state created during the Civil War. The state of West Virginia was admitted to the Union on June 20, 1863, through a special proclamation by President Abraham Lincoln, as the state had seceded from Virginia during the Civil War. In honor of this historic event, June 20th was declared a State holiday known as West Virginia Day. On this day, West Virginians gather to celebrate all things related to West Virginia. As a bank that is headquartered in West Virginia, we are honored to be a part of this State and to celebrate this day! 🎉
