Legislation drives change! According to SHRM’s 2024 employee benefits survey, there has been a 19% increase in organizations providing an onsite lactation room compared to last year’s survey. The PUMP for Nursing Mothers was passed at the end of 2022 and updated federal labor law to require all employers to provide breastfeeding employees with break time and a non-bathroom lactation space. #employeebenefits #workplacewellness #breastfeeding #workingparents
