We’re pleased to announce this year’s College Scholarship Program winners! The Moses/Weitzman Health System College Scholarship Program is aimed at supporting children of caregivers working full-time at MWHS with the cost of college. Twenty $1,000 scholarships were awarded for the 2024-2025 academic year. Winners were chosen at random in a live drawing on June 17. Congratulations to all the students who entered! It was a pleasure welcoming Yale School of Nursing Dean Dr. Azita Emami and Deputy Dean Dr. Tatiana Sadak PhD.PMHNP.RN.FAAN. to the Moses/Weitzman Health Center this week. Following a robust discussion of mutual areas of interest in health and health care, and exploring interests in research, education and training, Deans Emami and Sadak had an opportunity to see the Community Health Center, Inc. model of primary care in action with an extensive tour through the CHC clinical facility. In addition to CHC, the YSN Deans met with leaders from other parts of the health system, including ConferMED, The National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement (NIMAA), and the Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers. CHC and YSN have a 45 year history of collaboration in education and training and we are excited about what the future holds for this enduring partnership. Lisa brings more than 18 years of leadership in the IT field to our health system. She is tasked with leading our IT team in the delivery of secure, solution-driven technology and processes to benefit clinicians, educators and researchers. Her work spans statewide Community Health Centers, school-based health programs, The National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement (NIMAA), the Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers, the Weitzman Institute and ConferMED.
