Congratulations to our 2024 graduates! Our students have spent countless late nights researching different universities, prepping for standardized tests and perfecting their college applications. Thank you to everyone who joined us at The Fresh Air Fund’s Spring Benefit celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Camp Mariah, honoring board member Mariah Carey for her generosity and commitment, and corporate partner Winston & Strawn LLP for their volunteerism and pro bono services. At fresh, our team focused on our commitment to environmental stewardship for the month of April. We are energized to share two key events that encompassed our Earth Month journey: 🌍 The launch of our fresh Environment School and a Climate Fresk workshop: fresh has launched its fresh Environment school to provide education on environmental fundamentals to all employees. For our launch, 35 fresh HQ and North America employees learned about climate change during a collaborative workshop. The Climate Fresk workshop provided a holistic approach to understanding and addressing climate change and empowering individuals to become active agents of change at fresh and in their communities. 🌷 Volunteer Day at The Fresh Air Fund: In the true fresh spirit of community connection, we held our inaugural partnership event with The Fresh Air Fund, a non-profit aligned to our value of caring for the planet and future generations. Our fresh Sustainability Champions partnered with our DEIB Council to support in preparing The Fresh Air Fund's upstate campsite for the summer where they will welcome hundreds of youth from underserved communities in NYC to learn, grow, and thrive in nature.
