Site Selection Assistance and Air Dispersion Modeling for New Greenfield Gray Iron Foundry

Project Details:

KERAMIDA provided site selection assistance and air dispersion modeling impact analysis for a new Greenfield Gray Iron Foundry in Georgia. The Client is a corporation based in China. The facility, which will manufacture brake products, was anticipated to be a Title V source from the perspective of air emissions.

KERAMIDA’s scope for this project included:

  • Site selection and due diligence

  • Air emission inventory

  • Air dispersion modeling

  • Evaluation of air emission impacts

The facility's air permitting is subject to Georgia State Air Toxic rules, and the project involved air dispersion modeling to demonstrate compliance with state ambient air limitations for listed chemicals.
