What is Standard Premium?
Standard Premium is the new class offered by Avanti West Coast, making it the first train company in the UK to launch an additional class of travel. The Standard Premium Class sits between Standard and First Class and is available on all Pendolino services.

Yes, you can now book your Standard Premium ticket in advance for travel from September.
Can I book a wheelchair space in Standard Premium?
Yes, you can book a wheelchair space by contacting Passenger Assist. The wheelchair space is located in Coach J with access to an accessible toilet.
Can I still upgrade to First Class?
Yes, you can. However, we still recommend you buy your Avanti First Class ticket in advance to get the best fare and guarantee a seat.

Standard Premium is available on most services operated by Avanti's Pendolino trains. Standard Premium is not available on their Voyager trains which run to North Wales, Chester, and a limited number on their West Midlands and Scotland routes.
