'Raped me for 2 years ... ': Woman files complaint against Karnataka BJP MLA Muniratna Naidu

BENGALURU: A 40-year-old woman from Bengaluru has filed a complaint against BJP MLA Muniratna Naidu, alleging that he raped her for two years, starting in 2020.
The woman also accused Naidu's six associates, including his gunman, of assisting him in blackmailing and threatening her with obscene videos that Naidu himself recorded. She further claimed that Naidu used her to honey-trap another man, the husband of a former corporator.

The First Information Report (FIR) has been registered at the Kaggalipura police station in Ramanagara district.
Earlier last week, two additional cases were filed against Naidu at Vyalikaval police station. An ex-corporator lodged an atrocity case against him, while a BBMP contractor accused Naidu of demanding a Rs 30 lakh bribe and cheating him out of Rs 20 lakh under the pretext of arranging 10 auto rickshaws for garbage disposal.
Naidu, who has been arrested in the atrocity case, is currently in judicial custody at Bengaluru Central Prison.
