This morning will see a dull and grey start. The cloud will tend to break early in the afternoon but scattered thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon with the risk of hail for some.

Turning dry this evening with lengthy clear spells developing to start the night. From midnight onwards, large areas of variable cloud will develop which may bring the odd shower near dawn.

Tomorrow sees a growing risk of showers throughout the day. These will be scattered but heavy and likely thundery. Some may contain a risk of hail. Sunny spells between the showers.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday
Cloudy and unsettled on Sunday with heavy rain and showers possible for most. Some may contain a risk of thunder. The rain will linger for a time during the first half of Monday but will clear eastwards as a cooler northerly flow is established. A mix of sunny spells, variable cloud and showers on Tuesday. Heavy rain to end the day and through the night. Even cooler.
