Here are two critical areas that often get ignored: Pricing: Underpricing to win deals? That’s a losing strategy. You’re not Walmart, so stop racing to the bottom. Focus on value-based pricing that reflects the real impact you deliver. Customers who see the value will pay what it’s worth—those who don’t? They’re not your target. Post-Sale Game: Getting customers is just the start. Retention and upselling are where real scaling happens. Without a strong customer success strategy, scaling will be painful. Happy customers stay longer and spend more. Simple as that.

Dealing with a client stuck in traditional sales methods. Are you ready to introduce them to new strategies?
First, don’t trash what’s worked for them. Acknowledge their old-school approach has some value, but point out the missed opportunities they’re leaving on the table by ignoring modern methods like automation, social selling, or AI. Back it up with results: “Look, companies just like yours have made small tweaks and seen X% growth.” Use concrete examples—don’t preach theory. And if they’re still hesitant? Propose a pilot test. Show them new strategies without asking them to overhaul everything at once. You don’t need to convince them overnight. Start small, show the upside, and let the numbers do the talking. If they don’t want to evolve after seeing the benefits, maybe they’re just not ready to grow.

When pitching across industries, forget the cookie-cutter approach. A CEO in manufacturing? They’re focused on slashing costs. A Marketing Manager in retail? They need smoother campaigns. The key? Know their pain points and hit them with something real: “I’ve seen a lot of folks in [X industry] struggling with [specific challenge]. How are you handling that?” Then, cut to the chase: “Got 15 minutes to see how we can fix that?” Keep it sharp, direct, and be ready to back it up with real examples. No fluff—just solving their problem or walking away if it’s not a fit.
