Dozens arrested as police target Ghost app allegedly used for criminal communications – video

Police say they have arrested 38 people, prevented the 'death and serious injury' of 50 others and taken down Ghost, a global encrypted communications network. The AFP and the FBI in the US had previously collaborated on a platform to gather evidence on murder plots, drug importations and weapon purchases which were openly discussed because criminals thought it was secure. It was exposed as being part of a law enforcement operation in 2021
