I’m so excited about Social Impact in the Regions next week in Kempsey with Kerry Grace and Chad Renando with Ready Communities AND Jo-Anne Kelly and Learning the Macleay. Last year we met inspiring regional and rural leaders. We deepened our understanding of the joy and challenge of creating thriving communities across regional and rural Australia. We had a lot of fun making great connections. Hats off to Kerry and Jo-Anne, for this year’s preparation. The Siddle Family Foundation team is raring to go!
Every single regional community has a wealth of opportunities just waiting to be embraced. What you see here is a stellar partnership with a local shopping centre unfolding that will benefit not only this event but also many other local partnerships now and into the future. # We needed a conference centre for our 250 delegates and looked high and low to no avail. Until we asked a cheeky question and. Well. Here it is!! # our makeshift centre backs on to the Macleay Valley Country University Centre (CUC) giving us a wonderful opportunity to partner with the CUC and advocate for an expansion as we demonstrate how amazing this space is when activated. # we are located right in the heart of the town meaning we can send delegates to 11 different local cafes for lunch on two days (and shop along the way). # we get to play with possibility and show others they can too.
