Last night AIDN QLD and Northrop Grumman welcomed more than 90 AIDN members to the AIDN QLD April Member Meeting held at Hangar 1 at their Brisbane Airport facilities. Members were treated to a discussion on Northrop Grumman's history, defence capability and Sovereign Defence Industry initiative priorities, and learned about the role of the Airbus KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) pictured behind the group. Members also heard from Stuart Blackwell of the QDSA (Queensland Defence Science Alliance), as he provided an overview of the organisation, their alignment with ADSUN and the opportunities provided to Defence Industry businesses through innovation, research and development, as well as heard from Richard Lord of Integra Service Dogs Australia, who will be hosting a silent auction at this year's AIDN QLD Gala Dinner.
