Martin W. Siemer is a judge on the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He was elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on December 6, 2020.[1]

Siemer ran for election to the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 18, 2014.
General: He defeated Ericka Sanders in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 55.2 percent of the vote. [1][2]

The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Martin W. Siemer as Recommended for election in a 2014 poll.[3]

Bildung

Siemer graduated from Teutopolis High School in 1985. He went on to earn a B.S. in secondary education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1990. As of 2014, he still holds an active license to teach grades six through twelve in Illinois. He received his J.D. from the Saint Louis University School of Law in 1994.[4]

Career

Siemer was a founding member of the Resch Siemer Law Office, LLC. In addition to his private practice, he was elected to five terms on the Board of Education for Teutopolis Community Unit District No. 50, where served as president beginning in 2007. He also served as city attorney for the City of Casey.[4]
