Phil Haines
Phil Haines is a former Republican member of the New Jersey Senate, representing District 8 from 2008 to 2010. Haines was appointed to a superior court judgeship in fall 2010.[1]
He was also the Burlington County Clerk from 2000 to 2004. Bills that were sponsored by Senator Haines include Senate Bill 167 and Senate Bill 241.[2]
Biography
Haines earned his B.A. in history/political science from LaSalle University and his J.D. from Rugters Law School. His professional experience includes working as an attorney and has a law firm, Caplan Haines.[3]

In 2007, Haines was elected to the New Jersey State Senate District 8. Haines (R) finished with 28,148 votes while his opponent Francis Bodine (D) finished with 18,066 votes.[4] Haines raised $350,185 for his campaign fund.[5]
