Fairfax and Dumfries Health Centers are community-based extensions of Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) and represent opportunities for TRICARE eligible beneficiaries to enroll and receive Primary Care, selected specialty care and major ancillary services.
These Health Centers have been in place since 2015, have a rich history of delivering high quality, easily accessible care and services and are completing the addition of 12 new Primary Care Managers between Fairfax and Dumfries to expand and enhance their capacity in providing community-based care for ATAMMC. Beginning in August 2023, we will have additional enrollment opportunities at both locations.

- Convenient locations in secure settings with easy parking that reduce drive time from patient home residences to ATAMMC-managed points of care
- "One-stop service" for most of your Primary Care needs with all major ancillary services )including pharmacy, lab, and radiology) on site
- ScriptCenter Express Prescription machines in the Pharmacy reception areas for fast convenient refill pickup
- Drive-thru pharmacy refill kiosk for added convenience at Dumfries Health Center
- Extended hours: Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Urgent Care services to support your needs that are time-sensitive and cannot wait for an appointment, but not severe enough for a trip to the Emergency Room
- Direct access to the broad range of specialty services available from ATAMMC and Walter Reed with a referral from your Primary Care Manager
