Zachary van Galen Campbell has joined our Nanaimo office as a Mechanical Designer on Taio’s team. “AME is full of great opportunities and people. Say hello and get to know Harinder Dhaliwal P.Eng, Senior Mechanical Designer, based out of Calgary, AB. Q: Can you describe your journey with AME? A: I joined AME back in 2018 as a Junior Mechanical Designer and worked my way to my current role as Senior Mechanical Designer. My journey is taking me to some additional course work about Pool Operation in the Fall using AME’s annual education allowance. I’ll learn about pool chemistry, pool designs and construction administration, as well as the operations side of aquatics so I can better advise clients for new and existing pools. Overall, it’s been very satisfying Building Legacy here and I’ve learned a lot working on challenging projects – my teammates making it fun and easy with their support. I’m always inspired and encouraged by them! Q: If you could be an expert at something, what would it be? A: Pools. I’ve enjoyed working on recreation and aquatic centres and I’m excited to learn more, getting to dive deeper into the subject – literally and figuratively. Q: What did you want to be when you grew up? A: I wanted to be someone who knew something about something. Seems like I am on right track! #AMEGroup #BuildingLegacy #Engineering

Another AME Summer Party for the books! We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our amazing AMErs and their families who made it out to our annual Summer Party. With over 230 attendees, the event was a true testament to the vibrant and dynamic community we have at AME. The sunshine provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with fun, laughter, and meaningful connections. It was heartwarming to see everyone—from the youngest to the oldest—enjoying themselves and making lasting memories. One favorite moment was overhearing a parent say, "My kids love coming to the party because they get to play with their AME friends." That truly encapsulates the spirit of our event, and our purpose of Building Legacy! It’s summer and everyone wants to be out relaxing and taking in the sunshine! Here at AME, we have a Flexible Work Policy that allows for just that - year-round! Our AMErs, if they choose, work an extra hour a day and then have the option to enjoy either a half-day every Friday or full Friday off every other week. Flexibility at its best!
